milan eats: luini panzerroti

A Luini Panzerroti.

If you ever find yourself in Milan, I highly recommend eating a panzerroti -- a soft calzone-like snack -- at Luini. In two days, I had three panzerrotis. It was like an obsession.

A ham panzerroti.
Luini sold savory and sweet panzerrotis. I only ate the savory kind. The panzerrotis were warm, soft and cheesy. They also had a touch of sweetness that was balanced well with the savory filling (such as pomodoro and mozzarella, or prosciutto and mozzarella). They cost around €2.50 each.

The place - located near the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery - always had a line of people every time I went but it moved fairly quickly.
Luini,

Have you tried Luini's panzerroti or any panzerroti? What did you think?
